How to achieve an effortless, “no makeup” look
Brush cleaning should be an essential part of your beauty routine: It involves the removal of residual makeup, dirt, and oils in order to prevent bacteria buildup, which can ultimately led to unwanted breakouts.
3 essential parts to your Fall beauty routine
As the chillier fall air starts to set in, you may start to notice your skin is feeling dryer and your lips a little more chapped. Our beauty routines can’t be the same year round as different temperatures and levels of humidity affect the way our skin will feel.
This fall we recommend trying these 3 tips so that your skin stays hydrated and glowing! The first step in getting that radiating skin is to exfoliate! Before you moisturize, use a hydrating exfoliator to remove all dirt and imperfections on the skin. Secondly, make the switch to a heavier, denser lotion to hydrate your face and body. The same lightweight lotions that can be used over the summer may not do the trick anymore. Lastly, keep your lips hydrated by applying a lip serum nightly. If you want to really give your lips a thorough beauty treatment, you can make an at home scrub to exfoliate them using sugar and honey! Trying these three tips will be sure to keep your skin happy during the colder weather.
Cucumber and its secret benefits!
The flesh of the cucumber contains ascorbic acid and caffeic acid, both of which help soothe skin irritations and reduce swelling. They help prevent water retention, and are an excellent remedy for tired eyes and dark circles. Cucumber juice is often recommended as a source of silica to improve the complexion and health of the skin, plus cucumber’s high water content makes it naturally hydrating—a must for glowing skin. Facial masks containing cucumber juice can also be used for skin tightening.
